The employees of ENIC NARIC make sure that all the required documents are included and then send the application for comment to either Iðan fræðslusetur or Rafmennt, depending on the profession.

Once the expert's opinion is available, the ENIC NARIC office processes the application and guides the applicants on the next steps, as the case may be, e.g. if the result leads to the issue of a special permit that grants the right to work in a licensed trade in this country.

Those who benefit from the service are both citizens from the countries of the EEA region and citizens of countries outside the EEA.
