Food allergy

This online interactive course on food allergy is aimed at anyone working in food service – from the manager through to the food preparation and food service staff. The course helps to identify the fourteen particular food allergens and understand why foods containing allergens must be handled carefully.

Objectives:

-Understand what food allergy, intolerance and coeliac disease are.

-Learn to recognise the symptoms of an allergic reaction.

-Know which ingredients could cause allergies.

-Understand what to consider to keep diners safe.

You will be asked 32 questions/assignments with a pass mark of 80%. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don´t answer correctly you will get a chance to correct the mistake. You can save your test results if you can´t finish all at once and would like to continue later.Length: 1-2 hours.
